School Council

Who are we?

We are a group of pupils who are elected in September by our class peers from Year 3 to Year 6. Each class has one representative for the academic year.

Our representatives for 2016/17:

3VK – Ayaan              3AD - Eleanor

4MD – Mikaela           4CQ - Fearne

5LJ – Kerry               5AS – Serenity

6SH – Sumaiya           6JB – Caitlin

What do we do?

The School Council meet with Miss Kenward on a regular basis to discuss and sort out problems. These include school play time, lunch time, service and ideas for fundraising events. Each member of the School Council is responsible for discussing ideas with their class and then sharing their findings with the group.

Things we are proud of:

·         We have introduced a celebration assembly that happens every Friday for KS2. Each teacher nominates one pupil from each class to receive a ‘Seren yr Wythnos’ certificate that we designed ourselves.

·         We have organised several fundraising events this year. These include raising money for Children in Need and Save the Children.

·         We have made our play times better in Key Stage 2 by introducing a football rota for play time and lunch time.

·         We have judged many competitions including the Eisteddfod and the Easter egg extravaganza, which we all thoroughly enjoyed.
